…NEMA staff framed me up on the alleged N5.8billion scandal
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has cleared the doubt about the gaffes and the fitness of his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari for re-election based on his seemingly poor performance during the NTA live dialogue, The Candidates, saying they could not hear the anchor of the program, Kadaria Ahmed due to technical problem.
Speaking in Lagos on Sunday at a Christian Youth program, The Grill, Osinbajo said while the audience was hearing the anchorperson, The President and myself were finding it difficult because of the way our microphones were fixed.
Osinbajo, who was responding to a question if he could actually vouched for the soundness of mind of Mr President who seems to be incoherent throughout the dialogue, said those who are not convinced should watch the clips of the interview the president had with Thisday newspapers and Arise television where he claimed his boss performed spectacularly.
He, however maintained that the N5.8billion NEMA fund he approved for the IDPs as the Acting President was in order but one of the NEMA staffs who was on suspension then wrote a petition against him to the National Assembly to indict him.
Osinbajo said as a constitutional lawyer he would not take any action that will be at variance with the Nigerian constitution.
