Minister of Communications, Alhaji Adebayo Shiitu, has lampooned the National chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiohmole for his vitriolic attacks against the chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Mahmood Yakubu over the postponement of 2019 general election by one week.
Shiitu speaking in Ibadan on Tuesday said Oshiohmole lack moral justification to criticize Yakubu, if he (Oshiohmole) fails woefully to organize credible primaries within his political party.
The Minister noted that when Oshiohmole organized the most horrible and corrupt party primaries with the APC nobody calls for his head.
He then attacked Mr Oshiomhole saying he had no moral right to attack the INEC chairman.
“When Oshiomhole supervised that party primaries elections, which can be described as most horrible and corrupt in the history of the party, who called for his resignation?
“I will not support such call for resignation of the INEC chairman. To err is human. We have not seen any political motivation as to what has happened in INEC.
