Inconclusive Election:INEC To Conduct Supplementary Election On March 23

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced that supplementary elections will take place in the states that were declared inconclusive last week.

The states where election was declared inconclusive are Benue,Sokoto, Kano, Bauchi , Adamawa and Plateau states.

While the opposition Peoples Democratic Party was leading in five states before the election was declared inconclusive, APC governorship candidate in Plateau, Mr Simon Lalong was ahead of the PDP governorship candidate, Gen. Jeremiah Useni.

Some women staged a protest in Sokoto state yesterday that INEC should declare Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal who is ahead of the APC counterpart with a margin of less than four thousand votes.
