2023 Presidency:El-Rufai Sponsors Some Characters To Malign Tinubu In Kaduna-Shehu Sani

The senator representing Kaduna Central at the Senate, Shehu Sani, has said that some individuals are being strategically sponsored to attack and malign the personality of Asiwaju on Hausa radio services in Kaduna and environs.

The senator noted that the attack on Asiwaju’s person couldn’t have been sponsored by the opposition.

He added that he excluded the opposition from his suspicion about the identity of the sponsors of the verbal attack because he knows the background of the kind of people being engaged for the dirty job.

According to the tweet the only politician known with the title, ‘Asiwaju’ in Lagos state is former Lagos state governor, Mr. Bola Tinubu.

It would be recalled that some aides of the Kaduna state Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai poured invectives on Tinubu after the February 23 presidential and National Assembly election, blaming him for the poor showing of the All Progressives Congress in the state.

Sani’s Tweet which exempted the opposition Peoples Democratic Party from such ‘dirty job’ may indirectly be referring to el-Rufai , whom he had a running battle culminating to his exit from the APC to the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP.

This attack on the personality of Tinubu may be part of the orchestrated move to de-market him towards the 2023 presidential election which he has vowed to contest.
