A former Director of Press in the Presidency, Chief Eric Teniola, has revealed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar ought to have been president of Nigeria in 2001 going by the prophecy of Otunba Oyewole Fashawe’s Mum, Mrs Lydia Ijamolayemi, an extraordinarily gifted seer known all over Owo and beyond who predicted that Atiku would be presiding over the affairs of Nigeria by age 52 to 55 years.
Teniola, who clocked 70 years recently made the revelation on page 435 of his book titled,” On The Spot”, where he revealed the prophecy of Otunba Oyewole Fashawe’s Mum concerning Atiku.
The author in the opening of chapter 64 of his book said,” the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as presidential candidate of the PDP has compelled me to re-read a book on him by a colleague, Onukaba Adinoyi Ojo (1960-2017) . The 338 -page book was published in 2006 by Africana Legacy Press. An autographed copy of the book was given to me by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on November 8, 2013.”
Atiku who resigned from Customs at 43 as deputy director and despite still having ten years ahead to spend was said to have been led by the decision of Fashawe’s mother.
The book also chronicles how late Shehu Musa Yar’adua inspired Atiku to join politics and some of his associates.
