Adeboye, Kumuyi Are Govt Pastors, They Will Never Say The Truth – Primate Elijah

Founder of INRI Spiritual Evangelical  Ministry, Primate Babatunde Ayodele Elijah, has criticized the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and the General Overseer of Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Pastor Folorunso Kumuyi that they are government pastors and will never say the truth.

Speaking at his empowerment program and his recognition as the United Nations Ambassador for Peace on Friday,Primate Babatunde Elijah maintained that despite the public show by Pastor Adeboye a fortnight ago to denounce the killings and urge the government to do something through a Prayer Walk from Ebute -Metta headquarter of the RCCG to Atan Cemetery, he is not convinced that the intention was genuine.

He said, “ Pastor Adeboye and Kumuyi are government pastors, they will never tell the truth. What you see them doing is subterfuge.”

He,however, said the main reason he does not belong to CAN is the attitude of some Christian Leaders, which according to him fell short of the standard expected from God.

Earlier in his welcome address, Ambassador Per Stafsen admonished Primate Elijah for his philanthropy.

He said, “ Today mark the turning point in the history of the international community as we have gathered here to flag-off the United Nations online conversation for the first time in Nigeria and second time in the world soon after it was launched a week ago by His Excellency, Ambassador Antonio Guterres and Secretary General of the United Nations.

“I need no prophet to direct intellectual compass to say that Ambassador Babatunde Ayodele is a good man , a man of service to God and humanity, a man of good records. In no distant time, the international community will immortalize his name and publish his achievements above his contemporaries for posterity sake.” He added.

The Mayegun of Yorubaland, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde, who came to felicitate with Primate went down the memory lane that his friendship with the INRI Founder dates back to 35 years ago.

He commended him for reaching out to the poor, widows , orphans and the less privileged.

Dignitaries at the event include the representative of Lagos state Governor, Anofi Elegusi, representative of Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi and the representative of Lagos Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.
