Mixed Reactions Trail Otedola’s N300m Car Gifts For Daughters
Mixed reactions have continued to trail the purchase of N300million cars by Billionaire Femi Otedola for his three daughters.
Most reactions on social media center on the acute poverty in the land, thereby condemning Otedola for such ostentatious.
Some of the reactions are as follows:
“How has this waste of money touched the lives of the less priviledged on the street who are hungry & looking for the next school fees, business support fund, house rents, the next meal etc?”
“This show of Ostentation for me amounts to nothing if we can’t see a generation that femi Otedola & Co built and made, who are actually not directly related to him.”
“IF YOU CAN’T BUILD AND GIVE BACK TO SOCIETY, THEN YOUR WEALTH IS A WASTE.”
Those who spoke in support of Otedola said:
“My brother hustle o, so that another man’s wealth won’t upset you.”
“You have done well Sir. You are a good father. If you don’t like what he has done then forget it.”
For Bilikisu Abubakar, “Otedola is one person that has touched several lives. There is absolutely nothing wrong in giving his own aughters a treat.”
It will be recalled that Otedola has shown kindness to several people and still helping others. In fact, former super eagles player, Christian Chukwu was full of praise for the Billionaire after he sponsored his overseas treatment. Same applies to a veteran actor, Sadiq Daba, whose medical bill Otedola sponsored when he suffered a relapsed after initial surgery to correct prostate cancer.
Otedola has continued to also donate to worthy causes like the Abuja ecumenical centre and many more life transforming projects, so buying cars to appreciate his daughter may not be a bad idea after all.
