Governor of Lagos state, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, lamented the chaotic traffic situation at the Apapa yesterday.
The Governor during the tour with some of his commissioners appeared helpless despite the gridlock because of the federal assets in the area, which according to him will make enforcement of traffic laws in the area a little bit difficult.
Hear him, “ The state is poised to take over traffic management here to ease everything, but I have a problem. Because of the federal assets here, there have been occasions where arrest was made and we were told they have the license to operate in the area.”
