Crisis is brewing over the recently concluded permanent secretary examination conducted by the office of the Head of Service of the federation.
Some of the aggrieved candidates who were part of the examination said it was corrupted and fraudulently manipulated by the HOS, Mrs Sade Esan.
Since the results was released on June 1,2021, Newsnow Investigation revealed that some candidates have expressed their reservations about the outcome, claiming that there was an attempt by a powerful people in the government to ensure that some of them did not pass the examination.
Newsnow Investigation revealed that some of the candidates believed that the examination was manipulated to favour some candidates,alleging that the officials of the service leaked the examination papers to some candidates.
“The Permanent Secretary examination was corrupted and fraudulently manipulated by Sade Esan, HOSCF” said a candidate who craved anonymity.
It was also being alleged that huge sums of money must have changed hands to corrupt the entire process.
Some of the aggrieved candidates however, call on the Presidency to wade in and direct Independent Corrupt Practices and other offenses Commission, ICPC, as well as Code of Conduct Bureau to investigate the entire process, particularly the role played by the staff of the office of head of service in order to save the federal civil service from this heist.
Attempt to get the reaction of the head of service was unsuccessful at the time of filling this report.
