Missionary House Berths At Oko Agbon, Yaba With ‘Water Of Life’

Dr Rotimi Olokodana has taken up the challenge to allevaite the suffering of the residents of Oko-Agbon in the Mainland Local Government of Lagos state.

Penultimate Saturday, Olokodana, who preferred to be addressed as servant leader led his team from Missionary House to Commission the bore hole he sunk for the people of Oko Agbon.

And like Oliver Twist, an elated Baale of Oko Agbon, Chief Anthony will not let the opportunity slip by, he pleaded with Olokodana and his team to also look into the issues of school, especially secondary education for their children because of the inability to access public secondary schools in the area.

Olokodana while giving his speech also hinted that Missionary House will continue to see to the welfare of the people , adding that it’s incumbent on us to take care of our neighbors.

Quoting from Mathew 25:31-41, he said if we do not practice good neighborliness, our faith is not anchored on the word of God.

Olokodana has promised to look at the issues of education, welfare and vocational training for the secondary school leavers among the residents.

From Alimosho where he started the water project in 2018 to Oko Agbon In 2021, Olokodana is not done yet.

He has promised to take the water of life project to Ajegunle, another urban slum in Lagos state yearning for state government attention.

A missionary, Pastor Wole who supervised the project with a resident pastor Solomon were excited despite the initial hiccups that the project was completed in record time.

The high point of the ceremony was the unveiling of the borehole and generating set to power the water. 

Noddles and other foodstuffs material were distributed to the residents who were excited about the water project.
