Accolades, hugs, kisses and other emblems of endearment are usually reserved for this tall and dandy Aladja, Warri guy…for his acting proficiency and sustained, sensible personal image management.
For many years the lover-boy of screen and stage, RMD has sojourned the tricky crevices of journalism, theatre arts, publishing, public relations, business and governance (he was a special adviser, and later Delta State commissioner for culture and tourism in the 2000s).
Now stepping into eldership space (60 today, July 6, 2021), RMD is focusing on documenting pop culture and nurturing the next generation while not abandoning his first love – acting.
Later this evening, RMD is inviting friends and colleagues to “share a timeless experience” with him and his family somewhere on Victoria Island…and those who witnessed his 50th shindig would know that today’s event is certain to be swanky and a great treat – God willing.
Whether you’re there or not, please join us in saying a big CONGRATULATIONS to this great chip of the Nigerian brilliance… Happy sixtieth birthday anniversary to Richard Mofe Damijo…our RMD.
