Governor of Lagos state, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu is in a dilemma right now over the crisis rocking the Apapa Local Government.
Several petitions are flying around over the nationality and certificate of Kevin Lucciano also known as Gabriel Oluwaseun.
Sources within the council area told this medium that Lucciano is a Lebanese and that it will be suicidal to hand over such strategic Council to a foreigner if he eventually wins. Thanks
Sanwo-Olu who has written to the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other GAC leaders inviting them to Acme Road Headquarters of the APC tomorrow to give all the chairmanship and vice chairmanship candidates flags as an endorsement towards the next Saturday local government election is having a rethink. He’s particularly troubled about the avalanche of petitions against the Apapa candidate. Lucciano’s certificate is fake as well as his nationality. Most of his claims to LASIEC are found to be untrue.
According to the the letter written to Tinubu and GAC members, Sanwo-Olu says, “Dear Leader/ GAC member,
Humble invitation by Mr. Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu to kindly join him in the presentation of APC Party flags to the Chairmanship /Vice Chairmanship Candidates for the forthcoming Local Government elections as follows:
Date: Tomorrow, Sunday 18th, July 2021.
Venue: Party Secretariat, Acme
Time: 2pm Prompt
It’s not clear how Sanwo-Olu will wriggle out of the logjam that Balogun has plunged the state APC Into. The state Caretaker chairman( Balogun) has flouted Asiwaju’s order that all the first term chairmen should be returned.
