….Lagos Deputy Governor Laments Low Turn Out
Voters in Lagos and Ogun states were not so enthusiastic to cast their votes on Saturday as they stayed away from the poling centres in both states.
The deputy governor of Lagos state, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat who voted in Epe lamented the low turn out, adding that those who chose not to vote has no moral justification to complain thereafter.
Also, in Ogun state, Governor Dapo Abiodun After he Voted in Iperu-Remo urged the party supporters to close ranks and work together.
He also commended the Ogun state Independent Electoral Commission, OGSIEC, for the way the election was managed.
Those who spoke about the local government election opined that there’s nothing much happening at the third tier of government that will motivate them to vote.
