I Want To Say This Without Any Apology; Any Pastor Asking For Money To Pray For You Is Satanic—Olukoya

…..As MFM Begins 70 Days Fast

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has said any pastor demanding for money to pray is not from God.

Speaking at the monthly prayer meeting, Power Must Change Hands, PMCH, held at the Headquarters in Yaba on Saturday, with the Theme, “ I will do a new thing”, Dr. Olukoya said freely it was given and freely shall we give it.

Quoting from Isaiah 43: 18-19, which says ‘I will do a new thing’ Olukoya said the effective fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.

He, however, said God will do a new thing in the lives of worshippers who key into the effective fervent prayers.

The fiery cleric urged members of MFM to be prayer warriors in order to be able to survive what’s about to happen.

“ I want to say this without apology, any pastor asking you to pay money for prayer is not from God. Freely we were given and freely shall we give it. But because those people do not get it freely, that’s why they are monetizing it. They got it from somewhere and not from God.” He said.

Olukoya admonished members of the Church to pray more than before in order to survive the wiles of the wicked that’s raging now.

He, however counseled worshippers to ensure that they participate in the 70 days fasting and prayers program starting on Monday August 9.

He said; “ You will break your fast on Mondays and Fridays by 5pm, while on other days 2pm. The booklet is out.

“ If you have not been praying before, this’s the time to intensify prayers because of the rage of the wicked. There’s wickedness everywhere now more than before.”

Quoting copiously from Luke 18:1 and 1Thessalonians 5:17, Olukoya said the importance of prayers can not be over emphasized.

“ Prayer is the key to everything. Most of the crises all over the world is as a result of lack of intercessors. Most of the Economic and security crises are beyond the governors and presidents, most of it would have be resolved through intercession.” He said.
