Meet Kyari’s Accomplice, ASP John Umoru Alias: “Too Much Money”

One of the four officers arrested with DCP Abba Kyari yesterday was ASP John Umoru, who is also known as ‘too much money’ in police circle.

Umoru must have earned this sobriquet because of the enormous wealth he can boast of which may be far above his earning as detective.

The air of invincibility created around these officers when they held forth as the Tactical Team of the Inspector General of Police despite some noticeable misdemeanors without the appropriate sanction may have emboldened them to continue with the nefarious activities, to the level of allegedly becoming a drug cartel.

Now, the bubble has burst and the officers hitherto knows as crime fighters have now been alleged to be part of a drug cartels.
