Olubadan Stool:Oluwo Congratulates Lekan Balogun
The Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has congratulated the Olubadan-elect, Senator Lekan Balogun.
Describing it as a cheering news, Oluwo said Lekan Balogun has taken after his great great Father, Olubadan Alliwo.
He said; “Congratulations to my own blood as the New and 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland !!! Olubadan Olalekan “Balogun you have written history again to be an Olubadan after your great great Father ,The Balogun Alliwo that hails from Iwo which my maternal grandmother is also from Alliwo Ibadan.
“ God Almighty, Olodumare is just too good…..”
It will be recalled that Governor Seyi Makinde announced the new Olubadan yesterday after the court case which had hitherto made it impossible was withdrawn.
