Convention: We Won’t Accept Political Appointees As Delegates, Buni Declares
Chairman of Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress , Mai Mala Buni, has declared that in view of the control generated by the section 84(12) of the new Electoral Act Amendment, no political appointees will be allowed to be delegates on Saturday (tomorrow).
Giving updates about the activities towards the All Progressives Congress convention on Saturday, Buni said the issue of litigation must be considered in allowing political appointees as delegate.
He, however, said political appointees can attend as observers.

ATTENTION TO POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS WHO WERE ELECTED AS DELEGATES.
The National Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of APC has declared that all political appointees who were elected as delegates to the National Convention slated for 26/3/2022 SHALL NOT VOTE in view of the controversy surrounding Section 84 (12) of the Electoral Act,2022.
However, political appointees can still attend as observers.
