Exclusive! Ojokoro Youths Group Accuses LCDA Chairman Of Working For Ambode Group To Change Jelili Oseni For His Preferred Candidate 

Concerned youths of the Ojokoro Local Council Development Area has petitioned the All Progressives Congress leaders at the state of plans  by the council chairman, Hammed Idowu popularly known as HID to change the candidate of the party, Hon Jelili Oseni according to laid down procedures for his preferred candidate, one Nasiru Busari. 

The group also accused Benjamin Labinjo, Rasheed Makinde and Baba Ile-Ogbo as Working in cahoots with HID  to surreptitiously change the party candidate tomorrow and force a faith accompli.

The petition a copy which was sighted by Newsnow called the attention of the national leader of the APC and presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, APC state chairman, Hon Cornelius Ojelabi and GAC members to the heist being perpetrated because of the selfish ambition of the aforementioned  at Ojokoro and urged the party leaders to act fast before it’s too late. 

The group maintains that Oseni is the automatic LCDA party chairman because he was part of the congress that produced the 20 local governments executives, adding that any attempt to subvert the will of the people will be counter productive.

The petition reads; “The information going around on the anti-party strategy of Ambode’s Boys to destabilize Political process is fast becoming a fact.

“We have information that the age-long rancour  free party mode of making whoever is returned as Vice Chairman at Federal Constituency Level as substative if any instance makes LCDA Chair vacant is about to be violated by these elements due to their inordinate and selfish ambitions.

“Hon Benjamin Labinjo whose MHR’s ambition is being funded by Ojokoro LCDA funds via the chairman, Hon Hammed Idowu is poised to do everything possible to remove the choice of the people, Hon Jelili Oseni whose name has been forwarded to Abuja and confirmed by the Party as the Party Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA.

“Hon Makinde who is also seeking a third term as Lagos MHA is also presently seen meeting and calculating to collaborate with the Ambode Group in order to render the effort of the party on the matter a nullity. 

“It was obvious that these team of Anti-party elements meant business because it is a fact that they have been parading a fellow even when the party has not officially sworn in anyone as the Party Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA before now.

“The youths of Ojokoro LCDA are calling on the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assemby, Rt Hon Mudashiru Obasa who is also seen as a Party Leader who will want leadership decision not to be messed up to call his political son,  Hon Makinde to order, as there’s insinuation that he’s part of the shenanigans with disregard to Party Leadership.

“The League of Concerned APC Youth For Justice in Ojokoro are poised and ready for battle if these Anti-party  Elements allowed to touch the result that has produced the Hon Jelili Oseni.

“We, hereby pray that the Leadership of our Party should urgently call these elements to order as the their action may affect the output in the forthcoming election as the people are against their penchant for impunity and flagrant disobedience to the rules of the Party.

“The emergence of Hon Jelili Oseni who is the people’s choice is a litmus test for the Party leadership who should stand by the confirmation of their decision as any reversal instance may be catastrophic, disastrous and subsequently snowballed into an uncontrollable crisis.”
