At 91, Emir of Daura Married 22-Year-Old, Aisha As New Wife

This is the interesting story of how the Emir of Daura, Faruk Umar Faruk married a 22-year-old lady, A’isha Gona, as new wife.

The Emir who presides over Daura, the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari married 20-year-old lady Aisha Maikano in December 2021.

He also tied the knot with Gona recently in Safana, Katsina State.

The bride is the daughter of former chairman of Safana Local Government, Yahuza Gona.Emir Faruk already has many wives and children as the custom of the land and Islam allow a man to marry four wives at a time.
