Resolve The Crisis In Lagos Labour Party Before It’s Too Late, Olatunbosun Urges National Exco
One of the leaders of the Labour Party in Lagos state, Mr Oswald Olatunbosun, has urged the national leadership of the party to resolve the crisis within the fold of the state chapter without further delay.
Olatunbosun, Who’ declared to contest for Lagos West Senatorial district early this year said he’s disturbed by the current trend in the party where some strangers are about taken over the machinery of the party.
He, however, advised the National Exco to quickly arrange meetings with the view to resolve all the grey areas without further delay.
Speaking with our Correspondent, Olatunbosun maintains that hope is not lost yet if the party will do the needful.
He said; “ One would have thought that the National Exco ought to know better . The stake is high now because of the momentum the LP has gathered across the country. The possibility of those who never wished the party well to send their pliant politicians to infiltrate its rank and file with the view to destabilize it is very high.
“ Now, the National Exco needs to move swiftly and arrest the drift. They should do the needful now before it’s too late”. He said.
There is total disregard of the constitution of the party and holders of the party in the state by the national exco,, even if people want to join the party, they must follow the necessary procedure. The national exco is the major cause of this crisis and they must rise up to the challenge.
The whole world is watching and waiting for labour party in Lagos state. This is our best moments, the time to take back our land has come, no matter how hard they try to divide us, we will unite and defeat the enemies of our land in 2023 polls at all levels.
