GOFAMINT Appoints Pastor Kunle Osota As National Director Of Politics And Governance 

The General Overseer, Pastor (Dr) Elijah Oludele Abina has approved the appointment of Pastor Kunle Olanrewaju Osota as National Representative of GOFAMINT at the Directorate of Politics and Governance, DPG, a politics arm of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. This was made public during the GOFAMINT Annual Ministers’ Conference GAMICO held at the The Gospel City, Ogunmakin on the 8th to 10th November, 2022. 

At the occasion, Pastor Femi Emmanuel who is the Director of DPG Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN and also the General Overseer of Living Spring Chapel was on hand to pray for the GOFAMINT National Director of DPG along with other members of GOFAMINT leadership led by the General Secretary, Pastor Femi Omowumi. The announcement and unveiling of Pastor Osota was the highpoint of the closing session of GAMICO on Thursday, 10th November, 2021.

Pastor Femi Emmanuel was accompanied to the conference by Evangelist Kolade Segun Okeowo, a popular drama minister and official of the DPG under PFN. According to Pastor Emmanuel, the Directorate of Politics and Governance was a platform for the church to take over leadership in Nigeria. He said, the DPG is the work part of the prayers of faith Christians in Nigeria pray to God to have good governance in the country. He noted that, since believers pray to God for prosperity and breakthrough but still go out to work, it is just trite that believers also go out, join politics, form formidable force within the existing political parties and with a view to influence who becomes political leaders at all levels.

Pastor Kunle Osota is a fellow, Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers. He is also an Associate member of Institute of Rating and Taxation, United Kingdom. Pastor Kunle is a retired Permanent Secretary who served in the Ogun State Public Service. He is an ordained Minister, he was first appointed an ADP in 2006. Two years later, Pastor Osota was promoted to an Area Pastor of Grace Area, Abeokuta, Ogun State in August 2008 and subsequent District Pastor when Grace Area was upgraded to a District. He was appointment as Inspectorate Pastor 2 of GOFAMINT Region 7. He is married to Deaconess Omolola Osota who has been a pillar of support to her husband in family and ministry. He is blessed with godly children.

The General Secretary, Pastor Femi Omowumi thanked the guest speaker for his sacrifices and vision to see a Nigeria of our dream. He assured the guests that the campaign has started already and our new representative will get to work immediately by setting up the Directorate down the line throughout our churches for effective mobilization.
