Bagudu Urges APC Supporters To Translate Numbers To Votes

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has called on the large Population of APC supporters in the State to turn their large population into votes for all candidates of the APC in the coming general Elections which comes up in the days ahead. 

Bagudu who made this appeal  at the APC campaign rally in Ribah, Danko Wasagu Local Government Area of the State also promised to sustain the ongoing efforts to bolster security, just as he acknowledged the efforts of the security agencies, other volunteers and critical stakeholders in providing security in the area.

He appreciated the efforts Hajiya Tsahara Bawa a former Commissioner of Women Affairs and the Chairperson of Maga/Kyabu Area Development Council, Hajiya Hafsat and all the Women in the area for their support and loyalty to APC.

The Governor also thanked Senator Bala Ibn Na-Allah, Hon Kabiru Tukura and all the APC candidates in the area for the various developmental projects they have executed in the area, urging the people to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr. Nasiru Idris for President and Governor and all APC candidates respectively.

Bagudu happily announced his approval for the renovation of Zuru/Riba road and construction of Riba township roads.

The Governor told the crowd that NNPC Bio -Fuel project in the area would soon commence production and Danko Wasagu would join the league of areas producing fuel through cassava.

While reiterating his appreciation to  security personnel and the vigilante for their laudable efforts in protecting lives and properties of people, he assured the people that additional security personnel would be provided in the area to bolster security.

Bagudu described Ribah people as hard working and truthful, saying, “they always keep to their words and we trust to do so during the elections.”

Kebbi State APC governoship candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu also thanked people for coming out in large numbers to support APC.

He promised to accord top priority to the security of lives and property of the citizens of the state.

According to him, security is very crucial to ensuring the success of the various other sectors of the nation’s economy particularly agriculture.

“The APC government is a people-oriented government and we will not relent in efforts to protect the sanctity of lives and property of the people of the state, if elected.

“Gov. Atiku Bagudu is trying his best in this direction and we will consolidate all his tangible achievements in this direction,” he said.

The APC gubernatorial flag bearer also pledged to initiate more empowerment schemes for women, youths and other vulnerable persons.

Dr Idris added that the duo of Bagudu and his predecessor, DG, campaign council, Alhaji Sa’idu Dakingari had done a lot to change the landscape of the state.

He said: “I will try my best, if elected, to follow their footsteps and bring more developmental strides for the people of the state.

“We will also prioritize agriculture to guarantee food security, curb unemployment and curb youths restiveness.”

Dr Idris who described APC as the darling of the majority of the people of the state urged them to massively vote for all APC candidates from top to bottom.

The APC Chairman in the local Government, Hon Abu Yayi and the State APC Chairman, Abubakar Muhammad Kana Zuru expressed delight with the large turn out of supporters and called on them to vote for all APC candidates.
