FG Commends NSCDC For Fighting Insecurity

The Federal Government has commended the doggedness and pragmatic leadership role of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) across the country, assuring them that the Federal Government will continue to support them to boost national security.
The Ministry of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola who spoke through his Permanent Secretary gave this assurance at the commissioning of the Command’s Permanent Administrative Headquarters in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State early in the week.
“Let me use this opportunity to assure the Corps that Government will continue to support your efforts toward enhancing better performance as a further step to boost national security.
“Let me also charge Officers and Men of The Corps that if we must effectively tackle the complexity of our present security environment, we must eschew rancour and unnecessary rivalry and ensure effective synergy with the Military and other Law Enforcement Agencies.”
Earlier in his speech, the Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi thank the government and the people of Kebbi State for their support and further solution for their continue cooperation in the area of providing useful information and actionable intelligence.
Dr. Audi future remind the people that security agency require every bit of information from the members of the public to checkmate the activities of criminal elements to guarantee peace and security in the State and the Country at large.
” I want to charge the zonal Commanders and State Commandants particularly in the North-West Region and the Country at large to continue to put more efforts to justify the confidence reposed in the Corps by putting their acts together to diligently discharge our mandate and checkmate every acts if lawlessness and criminality in the country.” He said.
