Just In:Nigeria Would Have Been Fighting Another Civil War Now If-Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said if not for the mercy of God, Nigeria would have been fighting another civil war now.
Speaking at the June edition of Holy Ghost Congress, titled; ” Understanding the God of wonders”, at the Redemption City on Friday,Adeboye said it was the mercy of God that averted what would have been a serious conflagration.
He, however, said that we still need to ask for God’s mercy because Nigeria is not out of wood yet.
He said; ” Last year, you remembered that towards the end of the year, I called for a solemn assembly that we should pray for mercy of God. Thank God, you didn’t ask me why,because I wouldn’t have told you. It was the cry of mercy that saved Nigeria from what would have been a civil war. But because we are not out of the wood yet, we have to cry again to Him tonight to have mercy on us.”
