GNI Congratulates New IGP, Tasks Him On Border Security
The Member representing Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI) has congratulated the newly appointed Acting Inspector-General of Police, DIG Kayode Egbetokun on his new assignment, tasking him to enhance policing along the nation’s border communities.
GNI noted that Egbetokun who hails from Yewa South local government in Ogun state is an excellent choice for the position of IGP.
According to the APC stalwart, the new IGP has demonstrated doggedness and exemplary leadership in various capacities within the police force and is therefore equipped with the necessary know-how to reposition the force.
While tasking the new IGP to improve policing along the country’s border communities, GNI expressed readiness to partner the police to ensure security of lives and property, particularly in his federal constituency.
“On behalf of my constituents, I heartily felicitate DIG Kayode Egbetokun on his well -deserved appointment as the new Acting Inspector General of Police.
