Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu, Others, Felicitate Adegbite @ 55
First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other eminent Nigerians from all walks of life have showered encomium on the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos chapter, Rev STV Adegbite as he celebrates 55 birthday.
They spoke in Lagos on Thursday at the church service, organised by the Methodist Church of Nigeria.
The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu who was represented by her Spokesperson, Bukola Kukoyi said the Celebrant is a man of conviction who will diligently pursued whatever he believes in.
Senator Tinubu in a congratulatory message to the celebrant titled; Double Grace Celebration To A Man Of Valour” says, ” I congratulate you on reaching the milestone of your 55th birthday. It is a joy to celebrate this special occasion with you , your family and the body of Christ.
” Turning 55 is a testament to the wisdom , strength, and resilence you have gathered over the years. Your journey so far has been filled with challenges, triumphs, and countless moment of growth in the Lord. Your position on the Truth stands you out as a Man of God.”
Also, Sanwo-Olu who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr Tayo Ayinde, described Rev Adegbite as his brother from another mother. He, however, said Governor Sanwo-Olu would have loved to attend but for state matters that took him to Abuja.
First Lady of Lagos State, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu who was represented by the wife of the deputy governor, Mrs Oluremi Hamzat said Rev Adegbite is a man of honour and dedication.
Responding, Rev Adegbite who praised God for His mercy on his life and family, assured Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu will deliver on his electoral promises to the people.
Speaking earlier, the prelate of the Methodist Church in Nigeria, Samuel Kanu-Uche who recounted his experience in the den of kidnappers in 2022 described the celebrant as a committed priest who is ever ready to make a positive change wherever he’s posted.
He, however, said that it’s a thing of for Rev Adegbite celebrating 55 in good health in a country where the life span is 50.
Dignitaries at the occasion includes Prelate Emeritus, Rev Ola Makinde, Bishop Osa Oni, Bishop Ogedengbe, Bishop Taiwo Ajose, Bishop Isaac Idahosa and Chief Olusola Oke amongst others.
