Sex For Marks: I Have Been Sexually Harrassed–UNILAG Don
A head of the Department of History and Strategic Studies at the University of Lagos, Prof David Aworawo has declared that he has been sexually harassed in the past.
Speaking on a current affairs program, Thisdaylive, monitored on ARISE News on Sunday in Lagos, the UNILAG Don said it happened in 2006, when he was much younger.
Prof Aworawo was reacting to the question from the anchor, Dr Reuben Abati, on his views about the female students who were sexually harassed by their lecturers.
The University Don, who maintained that it is not an excuse that students dress scantily to arouse the lecturers, adding that there should be a dress code for attending lectures.
” I have been sexually harassed in the past. It was a final year student who had a carryover and believed she must pass at all cost.
“She literally threw herself at me, but I wasn’t moved, even when she opened up her clothes to seduce me,” he said.
Recall that the incidence of male lecturers sexually harassing the female undergraduates have been on the rise lately.

About 35 randy lecturers were said to have been found wanting and sacked.
