Exclusive! CAN Is Inconsequential- Bishop Oke Fumes …. As Lagos PFN General Assembly Ends In A Stalement
The President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Bishop Wale Oke, has described the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, as Inconsequential.
Bishop Oke, who was at the PFN general assembly held at Onipanu headquarters of Lagos PFN, today was reacting to one of the leaders who countered his move to create three chairmen in Lagos State against the constitution.
The PFN President , who was livid with anger when it was obvious that he wouldn’t be allowed to create three chairmen, said he does not care a hoot if CAN will oppose such move, adding that CAN must fall in line into his own plan.
” CAN is Inconsequential,” he fumed.
On the tenure of Lagos PFN Chairman, which ended last year, July, Bishop Oke insisted that Apostle Okwuonu led PFN should continue till after he returns from his foreign trip.
A source hinted that Bishop Oke had envisaged a stormy session. Hence, he advised that media should not be invited. Even those who came to cover the event were asked to leave as it was strictly PFN affairs.
Two prominent brothers with one that has to do with Rocky Ministry were said to have disagreed vehemently with Bishop Oke and his system of leadership, which is in habit of using executive orders to override the constitution of the PFN.
The two brothers warned that it would not allow Bishop Oke to polarise the Lagos PFN along ethnic lines by creating three chairmen, which will be detrimental to the unity of the body of Christ.
