Ilesa Agog As Chestrad Global Performs Groundbreaking Ceremony Of The Olajoyegbe Tariro Centre
Chestrad Global, a public benefit social enterprise, has performed the groundbreaking Ceremony of the Elder Josiah Olagunju Olajoyegbe Tariro Centre at Ilesa.
Elder Olajoyegbe is the late father of the founder and President of Chestrad Global, Dr. Lola Dare. The centre celebrates the 100th year of his birth and 30 years of establishment of the Centre for Health Sciences Training, Research and Development (CHESTRAD), now Chestrad Global.
The Olajoyegbe Tariro Centre is the first of Tariro Centres powered by Chestrad Global and her partners to provide integrated access to communities to assets that will enable them to survive, thrive and excel throughout the continuum of life.
Services include health, nutrition, education with access to financial services, and digital access.
The Tariro Centres will contribute to human capital development and will support communities to bounce back from the devastating effects of COVID19 responses as well as build community resilience to respond to future threats and pandemics.
The Olajoyegbe Tariro Centre is located in Oke Agbede, Ilesha, Osun state on 4 acres of land donated by an amazing woman, Chief (Mrs) Oluremi Olowu, a barrister and passionate advocate for gender equity, youth inclusion and diversity.
Dignitaries at the groundbreaking ceremony include Chairperson of Crown FM, Chief (Mrs.) Remi Olowu; HRH Oba Williams Rotimi Ogundiran, Oloke of Oke Agbede; HRH Oba M.O. Akeju, the Arojo of Irojo; HE Dr. (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, former first lady of Oyo state and Founder ABC Foundation, represented by Dr. Olamiju Ajanaku, Chief Operating Officer of the Foundation; Pastor AB Ajani, Superintendent, District Coordinating Council (DCC), Odo Iye Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Igando, Ilesha; Wendy Gardner of Ohana Foundation, UK; Remi Olajoyegbe, strategic coach and founder of IAmRemi Ltd, UK; Dauda Majanbu and Nneoma Iwu-Ekwem representatives of the US based development firm, VillageReach; Sina Fagbenro-Byron former Presidential candidate Federal Republic of Nigeria and managing partner of MotherGold Consulting; in addition to over 550 members of delegations across citizens hubs in Nigeria hosted by Chestrad Global.
