Just In:With 540,308 Votes Uzodinma Wins Imo Gov’ship Election, Defeats PDP, LP Candidates

Governor Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress has been declared winner of the Imo State governorship election conducted on Saturday November 11,2023 with 540,308 votes to defeat Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party and Anthan Achonu of the Labour Party who scored 71, 503 and 64,081 respectively.

Announcing the results, the returning officer, Prof Fasina Sunday, said Senator Uzodinma had scored the highest number of votes with the required spread across the 27 local governments returned elected.
