INEC Announces February 2024 For Bye-Elections, Court Ordered Rerun

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced that bye elections and court ordered rerun will be conducted on Saturday February 3rd, 2024, in nine states across the country.

INEC in a statement issued by its national commissioner, voters education, Sam Olumeko, said the commission will conduct the by-elections based on the court pronouncements from the litigations arising from 2023 general election.
