‘Politicians Defecting To The APC Have No Second Address’–Enikuomehin

“Most of the people jumping into the ruling party have no second address. Though some may have, but are dissatisfied with what is going on in their party. Also, some can not be in the opposition for too long. There’s always this attraction to move to the ruling party, and it’s not good for our democracy”

Dr. Benson Enikuomehin, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state, has lambasted those defecting from the opposition party to the ruling party.

Dr. Enikuomehin, who spoke on Arise News,monitored in Lagos on Friday said most of the politicians have no second address.

Besides, he argues that, though not all of them, some, according to him, are dissatisfied with what is going on in their party.

The question was based on the mass exodus of some Peoples Democratic Party chieftains to the APC.

It would be recalled that in the last one week, a former governor of the PDP in Imo state, Emeka Ihedioha, and scores of his supporters have dumped the PDP.

Though they haven’t revealed the party they are moving to, but it’s almost certain that they’ll move to the APC.

Also, about 60 house of Representatives members have threatened to leave PDP if the party continues to flounder.

The leader of the PDP Caucus in the House, Ikenga Ugochinyere, at a news conference recently was livid with anger the level of indiscipline in the PDP and the inability of the NWC to weild the big sticks.
