Bishop Idahosa, Other Clergies Set To Honour Dr Sunday Mbang

Preparations are in top gear for the perpetuation of the leadership ideals of the late Spiritual Fathers of Faith Forum leader and Prelate Emeritus, Methodist Church, Dr. Sunday Mbang CON, as guests have started to arrive for the Gathering of Warriors converge slated to flag off the immortalization process tomorrow Friday 14 June, 2024.

Among the leading Nigerian clergies who arrived yesterday for the occasion, included the Vice Chancellor of Weldios University, Republic of Benin, Bishop Dr. Isaac Idahosa.

Dr Isaac Idahosa who is the presiding Bishop and the senior pastor of God First Ministries Int’l popularly known as Illumination Assembly, Lagos, was the vice presidential candidate to Rabiu Kwankwaso under NNPP.

In his entourage are ministers of the Gospel and associates.

Idahosa , popularly described by his followers as prophet talk and do, is a keen admirer and follower of late Dr. Sunday Mbang for his dogged fights against the suppressive military imperialism, while serving the nation as National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN.

His determination to partner Ambassador Peter Daniel to ensure the ideals of Mbang live on throughout generations elicited excitement yesterday at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, during his arrival.

He will grace the occasion with several clergies who will be arriving Uyo today from outside the country.

Meanwhile, Prelate Prof. Isaiah Issong, a close ally of Pa Mbang, who also served in the Akwa Ibom State Spiritual Fathers of Faith Forum alongside Mbang, is delighted at the immortalization of the philosophy of the man he described as the most preferred doyen of faith in Akwa Ibom State.

Prof Issong, who will lead the spiritual fathers at the occasion tomorrow, recalls with vivacious mien, the legacies of Prelate Dr Sunday Mbang, especially his boldness in speaking against ills in the society, war against cultism and the rejuvenation of the Christian faith.
