Adeleke, Obasanjo, Ooni, Buratai, Others To Attend Olowu Kuta’s 60th Birthday….Bonsue Fuji King, Adewale Ayuba To Be On Bandstand
Osun state governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, former president , Gen Olusegun Obasanjo rtd, Ooni of Ife, HRM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, former chief of army staff, Gen TY Buratai, a business tycoon, Chief Mrs Bamidele Abisola and other emminent personalities are expected at the 60th birthday anniversary of Olowu Kuta, HRM Oba Dr Hameed Adekunle Makama, CON Tegbosun III today in Kuta.
The birthday anniversary started on Saturday, July 13, 2024, with a marathon and walk for life.
Odesola Samuel beat other contestants to the 50,000 prize money while the first runner-up and third position won 30,000 and 20,000, respectively.
Olowu Kuta led the walk for life with some of his guests.
The 2.5km was covered in 25min 25secs.
There was also free Medicare shortly after the marathon.
Shortly, thereafter, some of his Chiefs came to pay homage.
It was a beehive of activities.Bonsue Fuji King, Adewale Ayuba will be on bandstand to entertain guests with good music.
A Marquee Tent with will full compliment would serve as the venue of Olowu’s 60th birthday, where his guests will be treated to good food, both african and continental.
Olowu, whose intervention on national issues, especially the need to see the Nigerian military as a unified force, has earned him a national honour of Commander of the order of Niger, CON, by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
He has also been decorated by Osun Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, media organisations, CSOs for his contributions to the humanity and the nation at large.
