Igbajo United FC is fully owned and financed by the Igbajo community in Osun State, the same community that established Africa’s first community-owned tertiary institution, Igbajo Polytechnic, in 2005.

In a statement released by Ayo Ajayi, the Media/Business Development Director, at Dare to Dream, the sports management firm expressed its happiness for working with the Igbajo United family.

“We are glad to join the Igbajo United family, which is a community-owned football club. Continuing, Ajayi declared, “We would like to say a big thank you to Igbajo Community for receiving and accepting us, together we would build a self-sustaining football institution that would outlive us and would continue to be a source of pride to the Igbajo people.”

He noted that Dare to Dream Sports Management is filled with joy as regards how far the club has grown within two years of its existence.

“We are excited about the achievements of the community, which includes the community-owned Polytechnic, the rich history of Igbajo, the tourism opportunities among others. We intend to bring in our experience in the corporate world, international community, and network with European, African, and Asian clubs to provide the required structure for the long-term success of Igbajo United and Igbajo community”.

The Chairman of Igbajo United, Architect Oladayo Adegbite congratulates the Dare to Dream Sports Management and welcomes the team to the exciting and fulfilling business of community development via sports.
