Tension In Lekki As Gunmen Kill Lagos Monarch’s Son ….Lagos CP, DCP Visit Palace

There’s palpable fear in Lekki area on Monday night over the gruesome murder of Demola the first son of Ojomu of Ajiranland, Oba Tijani Akinloye.

Newsnow learnt from a source in the area that the Lagos state commissioner of Police,Adegoke Fayoade and a DCP have visited the Palace to commiserate with the Kabiesi and to also check for the lead to unravel the killing.

The source said: ” Very sad indeed! The police CP and a DCP with others were there this evening”

Meanwhile a message is being sent through the WhatsApp groups to warn motorists and residents of the area of likelihood of breakdown of law and order.

Titled “Safety Alert!!!”, It read: “Dear All,There is information that the son of the Ajiran (Agungi) King was tragically assassinated earlier today along Chevron drive, near Ebeano Supermarket. As a result, there may be increased security concerns and potential unrest in the area.In light of this incident, we advise everyone to exercise extreme caution when moving around the area. Please be aware of your surroundings and take necessary safety precautions to ensure your well-being.”
