STAN: De Genius Olivet College Emerges Best Secondary School In Science Competition
De Genius OLIVET College,Tigbo’lu Otta,Ogun, has won this year science competition organised among secondary schools in Nigeria which final edition came up in Abuja.
The school came first among contested secondary schools in Ogun state before having opportunity to represent the state at the national level named The S.T.A.N National Conference in the National PROJECT EXHIBITION category.
It was also disclosed that in the junior category, the school also came third in the quiz competition and qualified for the final.
De Genius Olivet College,Tigbo-Otta,Ogun state,Nigeria finally won 2024 Best school in Nigeria, defeating 35 others states, including Abuja FCT in Science Project with its “HOME MADE BIO-GAS DIGESTER”, producing cooking gas & fertilizer for planting from waste food or cow dung.
The founder of the School Hon. Ipoola Ahmed Omisore has expressed his joy and commended the students and tutors for their brilliant performance.
He also gave glory to God and parents for supporting the school in achieving the enviable height.
He thanked the parents who believed in the goal and released their children.
