Again,NNPCL Increases PMS Pump Price To 1,030 Per Litre

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has raised the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N1,030 per litre at various outlets in Abuja on Wednesday.

This price hike follows the company’s decision to terminate its exclusive purchase agreement with Dangote Refinery.

This Correspondent got the hint of likely increment this morning while stopping to refuel at Mobil filling station opposite Alausa Secretariat on Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

The attendant who had got wind of the planned increment in petroleum pump price was aghast when all the pump stopped working.

” Government again! He exclaimed if the planned increment had started before the manager of the station opened the pump around 8.30am on Wednesday to continue to dispense the fuel.

Shortly, thereafter the breaking news was everywhere that a litre now cost 1,030.
