Ishola Williams To Attend Ibadan Little League Baseball Tournament As Special Guest

The former President of the Nigeria Baseball and Softball Association and Africa Baseball and Softball Association, General Ishola Willliams will attend the Ibadan Little League Tournament as Special Guest.

The tournament is starting today, Monday December 16, 2024 and hold at Lagelu Grammar School Stadium, Ibadan.

It will run for four days, according to the chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Mr Michael Adedeji.

Mr Adedeji said the organisers are elated significantly impressed that first President of the Federation for baseball and softball in Nigeria is attending the event being among the surviving founders of the sports in Africa.

Ishola Williams is a retired army general and a man with lots for love impacting on the society through sports.

He was also the first District Administrator of Little League baseball in Nigeria as far back 35 years ago.
