How Ex -APC Youth Leader, Fissey Ehin Ogbe Was Murdered In Cult Clash

A violent clash between suspected rival cult groups has claimed the lives of four individuals, including a mother and her infant, in Owo, the headquarters of Owo Local Government Area in Ondo State.

SaharaReporters had reported that among the deceased was Fisayo Oladipo, a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) known locally as Fissey Ehin Ogbe.

He, along with another individual, was reportedly shot during the confrontation, which occurred on Monday, January 6, 2025.

However, the mother and child were struck by stray bullets during the violence.

It was gathered that their remains, along with those of the other victims, had been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre morgue in Owo. 

The Ondo State Police Command spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident, stating that law enforcement officers had been deployed to restore peace in the affected community.

Investigations are ongoing to apprehend those responsible for the deadly clash.

“Four people have been confirmed dead but normalcy has returned through the intervention of the police and efforts are on to arrest the perpetrators of the act,” she added.
