Oke Ogun Elders Commiserate With Okere Of Saki Over Wife’s Death

Oke-ogun Council of Elders (OCE), has commiserated with Okere of Saki,His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III on the passing away of his wife, Olori Waliyat Olabisi.

The Queen breathed her last on Tuesday.

In a statement by OCE spokesman, Comrade Jare Ajayi, the body expressed sadness on the demise of the second wife of the revered monarch.

“The death of anyone can be painful because once a person dies, he or she has gone forever since a soul is irreplaceable. When the deceased is a person so close, as was the case as the departed Olori was to our respected Kabiyesi, the loss can be deeply felt. For this reason, we heartily commiserate with His Royal Majesty, Okere of Saki on the passing away of Olori Walyat Olabisi”.

Quoting OCE President, Otunba Bamidele Dada, OON, the statement further stated that Elders and indeed the people of Oke-ogun share in the grief of losing Olori at this time.

Oke ogun Elders prayed the Almighty to have mercy on Olori Walyat’s soul.

They also prayed to the Almighty to grant the royal family and indeed the people of Saki the fortitude to bear the loss.
