Just In:Fièrce Looking Security Men Take Over Lagos House Of Assembly As Lawmakers Impeach Obasa

Staff and management of the Lagos State House of Assembly are currently held bound within the Assembly complex by fierce-looking security men this morning.

This shocking event is happening at a time members of the House are on recess just after passing the budget.

Nobody knows the motive behind this action and where it is coming from.

However, this is just a wakeup call to Nigerians that enemies of democracy may be at it this morning.

None of the heavily-armed security officers is saying anything, but they have barricaded the entrances to the Assembly.

Sources witiin the house of assembly however told Newsnowonline.com.ng that the heavy presence of the security men may be connected with the planned removal of Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, who is said to be holidaying abroad at the time of filling this report.

The source told this medium that his face off with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is embarrassing to the state.

He is likely to be replaced by a lawmaker from Eti-Osa, Olokoyede Yishawu.
