Gov Idris Approves N117 .200 For Kebbi’s Undergraduates In Egypt…N14.4 Million On Return Tickets For Medical Students In India

The Kebbi State government has released a total sum of N14.4 million as return tickets to eight Students of Kebbi State who have completed their medical studies in India.
The State Commissioner for Higher Education, ISA Abubakar Tunga who disclosed this to newsmen at a press briefing Wednesday stated that the Governor also approved the sum of N117.200 million for twenty five Students in various Universities in Egypt.
The Commissioner added that the governor in his generosity has approved the release of N2.727 billion to local and international students in various University around the World.
“The Ministry of Higher Education remain grateful to governor Nasiru Idris, no doubt the efforts of his Excellency towards promoting academic and moral excellence in Tertiary Education will remain indelible in history.” He said.
