Kebbi NUJ Congratulates New Correspondents Exco

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kebbi State Council has congratulated the newly elected executives of the Correspndents Chapel.
The Chairman of the State Council, Comrade Bello Sarki Abubakar congratulated the immediate past exco of the chapel for a successful tenure and commended them for conducting a successful election to usher in a new set of executives to direct affairs of the chapel.
The chairman urged the new executives to be mindful of the NUJ constitution while directing affairs of the chapel.

In a press statement issued by the Council Secretary, Comrade Ismail Adebayo explained that the Correspndents Chapel during its election held under the supervision of the NUJ state council on Tuesday elected Kabiru Wurma of Leadership Newspaper as chairman.
Other executives of the chapel elected unopposed include Olanrewaju Lawal of the Sun Newspaper as Secretary, Aminu Umar of Legacy Newspaper,Treasurer, Muhammed Lawal, News Agency of Nigeria, Vice Chairman, Hajiya Binta Aliyu of the Voice of Nigeria, Assistant Secretary, Zubairu Tatu, Authority Newspaper as Financial Secretary while Farouk Umar of Hausa Leadership was elected Auditor.
