Just In: House Okays Emergency Rule In Rivers

The House of Representatives has voted overwhelmingly for the proclamation of the emergency rule in Rivers State.

According to the news monitored on Channels Television on Thursday in Lagos, the lower house voted overwhelmingly in support of President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of state of emergency to resolve the crisis in the oil rich state.
