LSFA Inaugurates Referees Integrity Committee

The Lagos State Football Association ably led by Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed, last week Saturday at its Surulere secretariat, inaugurated a 7-man Referees Integrity Committee.
The committee is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that the match officials put in their best performances at all times.
Speaking during the inauguration, the Lagos FA Chairman Hajji Liameed, explained that setting up the committee became necessary in order to improve the integrity of the game in the state.
“We appreciate the roles of match officials, particularly, the referees in matches. However, there is the need to ensure the referees are unbiased and display professionalism at all times,” he said.
The committee has the Vice-Chairman of Lagos FA, Adedotun Coker, as Chairman.
The other members of the committee include the Chairman, Lagos State Referees Council, Adams Salaudeen, General Secretary, Lagos State Referees Council, Dele Atoun, Ganiyu Yusuf, Ayeni Saheed, Korinjoh James and Basahuwa Solomon.
