Drawing his Easter message from the Holy Bible, Kanta said that Jesus rose from the dead to cleanse the society because human body cannot live without sin as such Christian are expected to obey the words of God in practical terms not just by words.

The CAN Chairman pointed out that there is a sharp contrast between olden days Christians and the present day Christians because real Christians believe in God and wait for him but today’s Christians patronises ‘Babalawo’ and shrines so they believe in God only in words not in action.

Pointing out further that this is the reasons problems are all over the places because, christ believers don’t follow and practice the Bible like christ did.

He, therefore, called on service Chiefs in the country to live up to the expectations of Nigerians by ensuring the security of their lives and properties as their constitutional rights.

He warned also that if the leaders escape justice on earth the wrath of God which is certain awaits them in the life hereafter, adding that there is life after dead and there is God’s judgement as pointed out in the holy bible.

“Let me use this opportunity to wish Christians all over the world happy easter, I admonished them to pray for the return of peace in countries.”
