Access Bank Staff In Trouble Over Colleagues Nude Photos
Stephen Ejezie, a former employee of Access Bank, who has been implicated in a disturbing scandal involving the recording and distribution of over 400 explicit videos of his female colleagues is alleged to have been sacked quietly to avoid the backlash.
Ejezie, who was stationed at the Access Bank branch in Oniru, Lagos State, covertly placed a camera in the women’s restroom and recorded numerous videos of women in compromising situations.
His activities came to light on Wednesday, April 24, when he was caught around 1:30am in the restroom while filming a female colleague who was bathing.
Following the incident, the bank undertook immediate action, resulting in his arrest and a raid on his residence. Despite this, Ejezie has since been released.
While the bank appears to have terminated his employment, many impacted employees feel their chances of receiving justice are minimal. There are concerns that the bank may refrain from pursuing legal action against Ejezie in order to protect its reputation. Perhaps this is because we are contract staff, one employee commented.
According to sources, employees at the contact center, which serves as Access Bank’s customer service hub, often work shifts that necessitate staying overnight at the office, performing personal routines, including bathing, there.
One staff member recounted the incident, explaining, Ejezie sneaked into the ladies restroom. It seems he intended to conceal his camera as usual.
He noticed women coming in and hid in a stall adjacent to the bathroom.
The situation escalated when a woman bathing spotted a phone recording her from the toilet stall beside the bathroom.
She observed someone closing the toilet seat and noticed the camera by chance.
After she raised the alarm, others urged the individual inside to come out, leading to the revelation that it was Stephen.
He claimed ignorance about how he ended up in the ladies restroom but struggled to explain why he was shooting videos.
Later that day, he was arrested after authorities discovered additional clips of his co-workers bathe or undressed on his devices.
The following day, police executed a search warrant at his home and uncovered over 400 explicit videos featuring his female colleagues.
