2025 Hajj:Saudi Authority Bars Sheikh Gumi From Mecca

Controversial Kaduna-based Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has been deported back to Nigeria from Saudi Arabia where he went to perform the 2025 Hajj.

Sheikh Gumi, who confirmed this in a post on his Facebook page on Monday morning, said the development was due to some of his views of Nigerian politics.

It would be recalled that Sheikh Gumi has been involved in controversy over bandits activities in the north in recent times.
