Ondo Commissioner For Information Assumes Office,Promises To Make Information More Effective
The newly appointed Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon Idowu Ajanaku, has promised a free flow of information that would engender even development across the state.
Speaking after assuming office on Tuesday in Akure, Hon Ajanaku said effective Information at the grassroots is ‘sin qua non’ to development.
The newly appointed Commissioner promised to deployed trained information officers to the grassroots to project the image of the government in order to keep the people informed.
Ajanaku also promised to hold a regular media interaction to explain government’s projects to engender transparency and openess.
He said;” Government would hold regular engagement with the people to explain Government activities not only at the state levels, but at the local and ward levels to foster unity.”
According to him, ” the essence of this is to explain all the details of government activities in order for the citizens to understand the challenges being faced by government from time to time”.
